There will be a final chance to buy tickets to see Limmy introduce his second book, That’s Your Lot, in Glasgow. An extra performance, which will include storytelling and taking questions from the audience, has been announced for Wednesday 21st June at Oran Mor in the West End. There will be a book signing after the show.
Mostly known for his idiosyncratic comedy sketches on television, alongside a prolific output on Twitter and YouTube, Limmy’s second collection of short stories will be published on 4th May.
It follows the publication of Daft Wee Stories two years ago, that was also promoted by a book tour.
Limmy’s Show, became a national hit, despite originally only being shown on BBC Two Scotland. It won the Scottish BAFTA award for Best Entertainment Programme twice and has reached a wider audience on Netflix.
The new book contains 29 tales, which range in length from four pages to 37 pages, each introducing different characters and situations. Limmy’s That’s Your Lot is published by Harper Collins, priced £14.99.
Tickets for the extra show go on sale today (27th April) at 6pm.
