Glasgow Cocktail Recipes: Bloody Scotland with Stirling Gin

7th October 2017 by Paul Trainer

Part of the local small batch drinks boom, Stirling Gin was first distilled two years ago. Their particular taste profile is infused with hand-picked Stirlingshire nettles, basil, lemon peel, orange peel, juniper and angelica root.

Stirling Gin brand ambassador and mixologist, Stewart Patience, has shared a recipe he created for the annual crime-writing festival Bloody Scotland. Ian Rankin was a fan. Try this concoction for yourself.

Bloody Scotland Cocktail recipe

1 part Stirling Gin
1 part Lime Juice
1 part Cranberry Juice
1 part Blood Orange Syrup
then topped up with 3 parts Soda Water
add a Basil Leaf
