After feverish speculation online, it has been confirmed that Taco Bell will open on Sauchiehall Street in December. The news comes as part of the Adil Group’s plans for expansion in the UK and marks the Mexican fast food chain’s first foray into Scotland.
The new restaurant will feature the famous eats popular in Taco Bell restaurants all over the world, include the Crunchwrap Supreme, quesadilla, tacos and burritos alongside beer and soft drink options.
The Adil Group operate over 120 locations throughout the UK, including franchises for KFC, Burger King, Costa Coffee and now Taco Bell.
On the opening of the Glasgow store, Raja Adil, CEO The Adil Group, commented: “We are incredibly excited to open the first Taco Bell in Scotland and are dedicated to helping foster the community. We have big plans for expansion all across the country, hoping to increase the number of Taco Bell stores in Scotland to double-digit figures over the next five years”.
