Beatson Cancer Charity was formed in 2014 following the merger of Friends of the Beatson and The Beatson Oncology Centre Fund. The resources of these two charities were brought together to create a single charity dedicated to supporting The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
The charity provides a range of wellbeing, specialist and complementary therapy services delivered by charity staff and volunteers through the award-winning Wellbeing Centre and throughout The Beatson Cancer Centre and related facilities across the west of Scotland. The charity also provides funding to individuals and institutions involved in the care and investigation of cancer, including the NHS.
