Glasgow garage-rock trio Shredd are releasing their new single Flight Of Stairs on Friday 10th November with a launch show at Nice N Sleazy. Scottish Alternative Music Award winners (Best Newcomer, 2017), Shredd will release the track following a busy first year as a band. After their debut gig in August 2016 Shredd released their debut EP Every Time We Meet I Want To Die to a sold out Old Hairdressers followed up by the single Cobra.
Appearances at major new music festivals in Scotland including Stag & Dagger, Tenement Trail, BBC 6 Music Festival, King Tuts Summer Nights and Freakender along with support slots with The Black Lips, Death Valley Girls, Thee MVPs and Heaters have allowed Shredd to enhance their reputation.
Working for the second time with Bruce Rintoul (Fatherson, Twin Atlantic, Vukovi), Shredd have produced a powerhouse track in Flight Of Stairs with huge, fuzz heavy bass riffs combining with soaring guitar and breakneck drums.
The launch show at Nice N Sleazy will see the band joined by fellow local bands American Clay and The Kidney Flowers. Tickets go on sale on Monday 16th October with early bird tickets available for £3 here.
