Something for the Weekend: Five March on Elderslie Street

They opened earlier in the summer and have been building momentum. Five March has a slick style bar meets neighbourhood hangout type of vibe. It sits on the edge of Kelvingrove Park, near to Charing Cross. The thin space outside has been transformed into a makeshift sun terrace.

It’s run by two former employees of The Admiral and Distill, which is a good meeting of minds when it comes to creating a space for friends, food, drinks and good times.

Alongside what they are poring at the bar, there are a selection of ridiculously good looking small plates to choose from.

This weekend you will find us drinking cocktails amidst the potted plants.

Bavette steak with pickled onion puree and charred herb salsa £9.50
