The St Enoch Centre is getting ready to tell a story this October with a special book festival to celebrate the school holidays. The free Story Time festival will run in-centre from Monday 16th until Friday 20th and will take young shoppers on a journey of their imagination with a host of interactive activities held each day.
Youngsters can enjoy tales from Village Story Telling on Monday, Tuesday and Friday while Glasgow Libraries will also be on hand delivering a range of fun activities every day, except on Tuesday when children can get turned into their favourite characters at story book face painting.
On Wednesday 18th of October, children will be able to take their much-loved teddy bears and soft toy companions in need of a bit of TLC to the Teddy Bear Hospital for some recuperation while visitors to the centre on the 19th will have the opportunity to meet much loved children’s classic, Peter Rabbit.
St Enoch Centre will also be running additional days of its free face painting service throughout the month.
Anne Ledgerwood, general manager of St Enoch Centre, said: “We’ve got a fun line-up for all the family this October. Our literary festival offers a host of entertainment for wee ones during the holidays. Our new Atrium foodcourt and diverse range of restaurants and cafes means that families can make a real day of it and we’re looking forward to welcoming shoppers old and new to the centre.”
All events will take place outside Boots and will be held between 12-4pm. You can find more information on all events here.
