Alternative music festival Dirty Weekender have announced The LaFontaines as headliners at this year’s festival.
Proving one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Scotland in recent years, The LaFontaines join an already packed line-up including fellow headliners The Coral and Jake Bugg.
Fresh from their UK and European tour supporting Don Broco, the Motherwell band released their latest single Up earlier in the summer. The upbeat track “is about that feeling of optimism” explained frontman Kerr Okan. “It’s for the people who have taken a good few on the chin but refuse to go down. This was the easiest song I’ve ever written.”
The festival takes place across four days, 22nd-25th November at multiple venues in Ayrshire, with over 100 artists on the bill.
Tickets are priced from £60 for the full weekend and £29.50 for single days and are available to buy via Skiddle.
