Hidden in plain sight within the Merchant City, a normally secret space will open its gates to host a series of installations. Tontine Lane will be transformed into an animated environment, offering the best in Scottish street food and pop up dining, alongside art shows and cinematic projection.
Music, specialty stalls, and cultural performance will all find a home in this curious urban space, with Turner prize winner Douglas Gordon’s Empire sign set to be re-illuminated during the event.
The lane will re-open in around three weeks times and will be one of the city hubs for the Glasgow 2018 European Championships which take place between 1st and 12th August.
