We’ve been to a few baltic bars in our time, but this is a first. The Coors Light Ice Cave will appear outside the Riverside Museum from 19th – 28th.
Ticket holders will be met by a Coors Light explorer, fresh from the Rocky Mountains, who will equip them with thermal capes expertly designed to withstand 30 minutes in the chilly temperatures. Visitors can literally chill out with a bottle or pint of Coors Light and the more adventurous can choose from a range of Coors Light cocktails.
On the opening night, Mixmag will be in town streaming Glasgow’s best home-grown DJs direct from the Ice Cave. So even if you can’t make it down on the first night you can still watch the city’s best up-and-coming and established DJ talent live through their Facebook channel – giving you a sneak peek of what you can expect from inside the Ice Cave.
Those who are already heading to Riverside Museum for the Scottish Boat Race Festival or the Scottish Street Food Festival this weekend can make sure they stay cool by dropping by the Coors Light Ice Cave.
You’ll also get access during the Riverside Festival next weekend.
Bookings are now open, and general admission to the Ice Cave is free (drinks start from £3.50).
