It has all the ingredients of a Glasgow supergroup. Local heroes Belle & Sebastian are hosting a charity show for Save The Children with a stellar line-up of musical big hitters.
The concert at the Clyde Auditorium brings together Franz Ferdinand, Jim and Charlie from Simple Minds, Mogwai, Young Fathers, Josie Long and guest for a cracking line-up.
Optimo provide the soundtrack to the after party in the nearby Clyde-Built bar.
Belle & Sebastian announced the collaboration for Save The Children saying: “Belle and Sebastian, humbly, and with a good will, wish to stand behind the displaced peoples of Syria in their brave attempt to find a better life in Europe. If governments won’t help them, then the people must. Rock on.”
The concert takes place on 2 November.
