The closest racecourse to Glasgow city centre is Hamilton Park. It is just 13 miles away, meaning it is just a short drive down the M8. The South Lanarkshire course offers summer Flat racing between May and September.

Ladies’ Day in June is one of the biggest racedays of the year at Musselburgh. It regularly sells out, with 10,000 spectators enjoying the afternoon racing in the sunshine. The feature race is the Edinburgh Cup which was won in 2023 by Lion Of War.
