After a relatively dormant period, 2016 is shaping up to be a big year for Biffy Clyro. The band are expected to release new material to follow the storming success of their 2013 album Opposites and they have announced two live shows for the new year with more dates expected to follow.
Previously, The Biffy had been confirmed as the headline act at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay. The trio will unleash a high energy show with Edinburgh Castle as a suitably dramatic backdrop.
Beyond that New Year’s Eve gig, the band have announced they will return to Germany next summer to play Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals in Jun 2016.
Singer Simon Neil has revealed that the band have around 20 new songs they are working on for their next album.
Biffy Clyro could be one of the must-see bands of the 2016 festival circuit.
