The new-look Bloc Party will headline the NME Awards Tour tomorrow night at Barrowlands. The band unveiled their changed line-up at two shows in the US last summer before embarking on their first UK dates with bassist Justin Harris and drummer Louise Bartle joining the group to replace the departed Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong.
Support on the night comes from Drenge, Rat Boy and MC Bugzy Malone.
The band released their next album Hymns on 29th January. Fans will be keen to catch a glimpse of the latest version of Bloc Party and hear new tracks performed live.
Drenge will be playing tracks from their second album Undertow, while newcomers Rat Boy and Manchester grime MC Bugzy Malone will complete the bill.
