Bothwell House will open near Central Station on Friday 30 September, a new 300 cover restaurant and bar for the city centre.
Blending Middle Eastern and Meditteranean cuisine with Scottish influences, head chef Gary Duncan has created a menu full signature dishes for the venue’s debut. Comforting autumnal dishes include a rich beef cheek and shallot pie with handmade savoury herb crumb top, creamy mash potato, and glazed heritage carrots. There’s a fragrant Marrakesh curry of seasonal vegetables, slow-cooked with ginger and mustard seeds, served with jeweled rice and toasted flatbread.

Seafood is locally sourced from Scottish fishmongers with hand-dived scallops, trout and mackerel featuring on their menus.
From the grill, there’s a selection including locally-sourced Scottish steaks, and house-made Greek style lamb kofta kebab alongside Turkish mushroom shawarma.
Lebanese fried chicken is prepared with a seven-spice crispy coating, za’atar mayo, or a spiced veggie falafel gyros, and a smoky signature steak burger with onion jam and house pickles on brioche.
Bar manager John Russell and his team of bartenders has created punchy signature cocktails, classic serves and no and low mocktails and refreshments.
Jenny Barlow, general manager from Bothwell House said, “Bothwell House has been designed to be a home away from home. It’s full of style and character and truly offers something for everyone. The vibe is friendly and relaxed and we can’t wait for Glasgow to come and enjoy what we’ve created.”
Bookings are now open at bothwellhouse.co.uk.
