UK Government Advice

Boris Johnson has told people to avoid pubs, clubs, restaurants and theatres across the UK and to only make essential journeys during a Downing Street news conference this afternoon (16th March). Work from home where possible.

The Prime Minister said the number of coronavirus cases in the UK could double every five or six days without “drastic action”.

Anyone with a high temperature or a persistent cough, or anyone in the same household with them, is now being told to stay at home for 14 days.
