Crowds in George Square will welcome the Glasgow 2018 European Championships and friends from across Europe to the beating heart of our city.
The programme for The Great Big Opening Party features some exciting names in Scottish music, including Nina Nesbitt, The Ayoub Sisters, SAY Award-winners Sacred Paws, Mercury Music Prize-nominated C Duncan and award-winning Neo-trad quintet Elephant Sessions. There will also be a celebration of the European Championships sports and the people who have made Glasgow 2018 happen.
