Eusebi’s Deli in the West End has been named as Best Deli at the Scottish Italian Awards. The event hailed some of the top Italian eateries across the country with Glasgow well represented among the winners.
The team from La Lanterna were also celebrated when they were announced as the winners in the Best Restaurant section. Meanwhile, Celino’s was crowned Best Trattoria.
More than 1000 venues were assessed as part of the competition with the finalists being voted for by the public. Finalists in the categories for Best Pasta, Best Pizza and Best Chef were invited to compete in a live cook-off event in Glasgow on October 31.
Eusbi Deli first opened in the East End of the city 43 years ago and the family business opened in the West End in 2015, on Gibson Street, close to Kelvingrove Park.
