Hector is a portrait of an invisible man, a film that charts the journey of a homeless man travelling south from Scotland to a temporary Christmas shelter in London. Over the course of the journey, Hector decides to reconnect with his past and the family he last saw 15 years before.
A character study into the lives of those who exist on the margins, Peter Mullan brings great humanity to the role in a story that finds comfort, friendship and warmth in cold, harsh realities. The supporting cast includes Kevin Allen and Natalie Gavin.
Hector received its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival this year. The poignant tale will be on general release in Scotland from 11 December.
