The Drugstore Social opens on Friday on Old Dumbarton Road, promising a new range of healthy dishes, inspired cocktails and unusual craft beers. It’s brought to you from the folk behind Lebowskis, Porter & Rye and The Finnieston, so we know they are from good stock.
One of their first signings was barman Dom who moved on a free transfer from behind the imposing bar of The Finnieston. Dom, pictured below, is already a proven cocktail mixologist after reaching the semi-finals of the Diageo World Class earlier this year. He has also attained expert level in beards.
We’ve had a quick look at the new menu and we’re already going all in for brunch. Bring us all the food. Cocktails are shaping up too and there are a few unusual dishes. Here’s a few that caught our eye, followed by all you need to know about the food and drink from the new cool kid on the block.
