Flock Pop Up brings seven course tasting menu to Broomhill in the new year

Flock Pop Up have announced they will be taking over The Square Bar & Restaurant, Broomhill for two nights on the 27th and 28th of January 2018. Tables will be available between 5pm and 9pm both nights.

The ethos behind Flock, with chef John Traynor in the kitchen, is showcasing Scottish produce and complimentary flavours. You can see this in the menu which includes oysters, venison, hake and langoustine.

The menu for the January event will be:

Honey, spelt and butter
Oyster, mussels and celeriac
Beef, neeps, sprouts, marrow
Hake, artichoke, sea herbs, langoustine
Venison, fig, brioche, parsnips, blackberries
Butter milk, ginger, vanilla, white chocolate
70% chocolate, caramel, yogurt, banana

The menu will be priced at £40 per person. Booking is essential, this can be done by calling The Square Bar & Restaurant on 0141 337 6988. A deposit of £10 per person will be required to secure your place.
