Fraser Hart has opened its very first lab-grown only concept store in Glasgow. Situated in Argyll Arcade, the store will see the debut of the exclusive range of over 200 lab-grown diamond rings and jewellery items with diamonds ranging from .2 carats to over 3 carats. Key designs include oval, mini halo and pear, available in rings pendants and earrings, with prices from £950.
Fraser Hart has partnered with a leading jewellery manufacturer that works exclusively with Diamond Foundry, a pioneer in the lab-grown diamond growing industry. Diamond Foundry stones are 100% grown through the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) process. Diamond Foundry is powered by zero emission energy to produce lab-grown diamonds.
Lab grown diamonds are physically, chemically, and optically identical to earth grown diamonds. Starting with a slice of diamond, Born diamonds are met with immense heat to mimic the conditions of the Earth’s crust. Once grown, Born diamonds are meticulously cut and polished by highly skilled artisans allowing them to achieve their true beauty.
Each born diamond has a minimum G colour and minimum clarity of VS2. All born diamonds over 1ct are certificated by the IGI.
Some highlights from the collection include:
• 18ct White Gold Lab Grown 0.70ct Round Diamond Pendant, £2099
• Platinum 1.70ct Pear Solitaire & Diamond Sides Ring, £4500
• Platinum 2.20ct Round Brilliant Solitaire & Diamond Sides Ring, £8300
Speaking on the launch of the born concept store in the Argyll Arcade, Natasha Gregory, Fraser Hart Group Director of Buying and Merchandising said “Lab grown diamonds are created by the marvels of science versus earth grown created by the marvels of nature. Born is all about choice. The line ‘New Love, New Diamonds’ for me sums up the Born concept”.
