Big weekend for Gerry Cinnamon. The Castlemilk singer has been bumped up the bill on the main stage at TRNSMT on Saturday (his set will be at 4.55pm). This comes on the back of a raucous sold out UK and Ireland headline tour. The independent, unsigned songrwriter has some momentum all on his own.
Now four hometown shows in December have been announced. Tickets will sell fast.
Gerry said: ‘I’m buzzing to be playing in Glasgow again. My last stint was absolute mayhem. Expect nothing less from these gigs.”
“I knew some folk would dig it but I never expected it to explode like this. Pretty humbling to be honest.
“I’m a writer first and a musician second so it’s cool to be recognised for the writing and not just the live shows. As long as folk dig the tunes that’s all that matters. Can’t wait to get the next one out sharpish.”
Gerry will play the O2 Academy on Friday and Saturday, December 14 and 15 and the Barrowlands on Sunday and Monday, December 23 and 24.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday 6th July 6 at 9am.
