The first Glasgow and the West Cook Book will be published this autumn. The exciting new publication will be a collaboration between Glasgowist, Meze Publishing and the city’s leading chefs.

Right now, we’re having enlightening and fun conversations with local restaurants and exploring their kitchens.

These stories will be told across around 220 pages in a beautifully produced book that showcases Glasgow right now through our food and the people that drive local culinary creativity. It will provide endless kitchen inspiration.

Featuring engaging profiles of restaurants and food personalities, the cook book will be packed with recipes and images that confirm Glasgow as a leading food city.

The Glasgow edition follows on from a hugely successful best-selling series of books Meze Publishing has released across the UK. The Glasgow book will be the 31st in their regional series and the first in Scotland.

The Glasgow and the West Cook Book will be available to buy for £14.95 from the featured restaurants, bars and cafes, all good bookstores and online at Glasgowist.

We will be making the first 300 copies available to preorder with readers being invited to exclusive events to celebrate Glasgow food around the launch of the book. We need your support to make this a success and to support local businesses and local independent journalism.
