The number of Glasgow restaurants included in the annual Good Food Guide has swelled to thirteen. New entries to the prestigious list are The Gannet, 111 by Nico, Eusebi Deli, Ox and Finch, Porter and Rye and The Finnieston.
Places were retained by Number 16, Cail Bruich, Ubiquitous Chip, Stravaigin, Crabshakk, Gamba and Brian Maule at Chardon d’Or.
The guide to the best restaurants and eateries across Britain has chosen to include Ubiquitous Chip for a 45th straight year, testimony to the important place it retains in Glasgow’s food scene. The Good Food Guide editors were also particularly impressed with the new restaurants that have reinvigorated Finnieston in recent years.
Elsewhere, Restaurant Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles received the highest accolades for a Scottish restaurant.
