ALEX TURNER + MILES KANE REUNITED ON STAGE FOR INCREDIBLE RENDITION OF ‘505’
When Arctic Monkeys announced their comeback and a new album, the world waited with baited breath. How would it sound? Where would they play? TRNSMT fans rejoiced in January as organisers blasted away the blues with the news that the band would headline this year’s TRNSMT festival – a UK festival exclusive for TRNSMT at that! And when Alex Turner and co treated fans to an amazing rendition of ‘505’ with fellow TRNSMT performer and best pal, Miles Kane it really was one of the moments of TRNSMT’s opening weekend.
ONTO WEEKEND 2
TRNSMT returns to Glasgow Green for another weekend of incredible music. We’ll have a remixed site with new elements for fans to enjoy including the Transmission Bar and big wheel for epic views of the site plus headline performances from Queen + Adam Lambert and The Killers. An extremely unique stage will be in place for Queen + Adam Lambert’s performance tonight, with the stage based on Brian May’s custom made guitar (designed and made with his father in the 1960s). Immense and impressive, the size of the guitar shaped stage is 21m wide and 34m long. The catwalk neck is 21m in length, this long catwalk enables the band to be surrounded by more audience than ever before! This is a show not to be missed.
