An extravaganza of electronic music by the Clyde, the Riverside Festival concluded this evening with a storming DJ set from Groove Armada. Yesterday, highlights included a special back-to-back set from Slam and Alan Fitzpatrick and appearances from Nina Kraviz and Sven Väth.
Scuba and Detroit Swindle in the fun at the May bank holiday weekender. One of the planet’s best-loved and biggest selling dance acts, Groove Armada was a fitting way to close things out at an event that attracted around 6000 people to the festival tents beside the Riverside Museum.
Local hero Jackmaster curated a Mastermix Stage, headlining an adventurous lineup. Other Glasgow talent included the Animal Farm collective.
Over the last five years, the Riverside Festival has established a formidable reputation, attracting superstar DJs and providing a platform for fresh talent.
