International flavours for lunch at Tabac

1st June 2016 by Paul Trainer

A variety of influences from some of the world’s coolest cities coalesce in this classy joint on Mitchell Lane. We grabbed the table by the open window for a spot of people-watching and some lunchtime bites from the compact but intriguing menu.

Tapas, Vietnamese flavours and healthy vegetarian dishes are present within the options for the mains and side dishes which can be paired for £8.95.

There’s also chips because, you know, we’re cosmopolitan but this is still Glasgow.

While Tabac is busiest in the evenings when the adjoining supercool Panther Milk lounge brings a potent taste of Barcelona cocktails to the equation, this hangout is an excellent option for a leisurely lunch with friends during the day. Remember to mix and match dishes.

There’s a relaxed vibe in this pocket of calm close to the main shopping thoroughfares. You’ll find a well stocked bar with plenty of craft beer to choose from including Innis & Gunn and Joker IPA.
