Pretty Green’s store on Buchanan Street will reopen on Thursday 25th February after a revamp that ties in with the fashion label’s music roots. The brand founded by former Oasis and Beady Eye singer Liam Gallagher will celebrate the occasion by hosting an acoustic set from Dundee rockers The View.
Indie kids of all ages and would-be mods continue to fuel the rise of Pretty Green on the high street with expansion planned in the States and Japan after recent impressive sales, particularly during the lead up to Christmas 2015.
The menswear retailer has two stores in the city with a second location on Ingram Street.
Kyle Falconer, Kieren Webster, Pete Reilly and Steven Morrison – you know them as The View – will be the first to play on an in-store performance space, a stage that Pretty Green plan to use for intimate gigs from visiting musicians and local bands.
The band released their fifth studio album Ropewalk last year.
