Melting Pot and Heverlee will bring a series of summer parties to Queen’s Park Arena bandstand.This superb garden and urban space will be transformed into a magical sanctuary to enjoy fantastic music over July and August featuring some of Melting Pot’s favourite DJs.

Following the sellout success of the first weekend takeover in May, the fun continued on Saturday with Floating Points playing a 3-hour set, supported by the Melting Pot mobile DJ team.
Next up on 21st July they bring a group of gifted friends together to play with Gillies Peterson leading the pack. Gilles is a taste-maker of world music on his BBC 6 Music show and now hosts his own We Out Here festival.
Joining him in the park is a host DJ of Gilles’ Worldwide Radio, Rebecca Vasmant and theMelting Pot crew.
On Saturday 10th August Mr Scruff will take over the turntables for the majority of the day to lay down his own party vibes.
Melting Pot concludes their series of Parties in the Park with one of their biggest line-ups to date for the final dance of this summer on August 11th.
Dutch house men of the moment Detroit Swindle will be closing the event alongside NewYork’s Tim Sweeney; internationally renowned DJ and founder of the Beats In Space Radio Station, record label of the same name and DFA Records .
Local heroesWSHOM (We Should Hang Out More) and Ali Ooft will provide the soundtrack in the Heverlee Village, featuring a range of ice cold drinks, a Belgian food area, some fantastic DJs and graffiti artists.
