Miller & Carter Steakhouse are opening a new restaurant to add to the city centre’s culinary mix.
Boasting a selection of 13 styles of steaks, the chain promise to provide a quality, meaty dining experience.
Setting up to compete in the beef championships with Glasgow’s army of gourmet burger joints, Miller & Carter will take over at 47 St Vincent’s Street, in the building that was previously the Post Office.
The restaurant sources its beef from farms in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, the West Country and Scotland. Their range of steaks is taken from Charolais, Limousin, Hereford, Aberdeen Angus, Blonde Aquataine and Belgian Blue breeds, with cattle selected that are 30 months or younger.
This attention to detail leads to a selection of impressive cuts that can be expertly grilled then paired with crispy onion loaf, a dressed iceberg wedge and a grilled balsamic-glazed tomato before being served up, ideally with a glass of red wine.
If this sounds like your kind of place, they expect to open their doors to their first customers in March.
