Previously part of the Bath Street bar circuit and perennially popular with the city’s hospitality and entertainment industry workers, Moskito returns under new management and with a different look from May, with extensive renovation work currently underway.
I’ve seen the plans and the place will have a slick, modern appearance, taking design nods from leading cocktail bars in other major cities while aiming to stand out from the crowd.
Music, food and music will be different, but the place will retain late night venue vibes and a sense of fun.
General Manager Ben McLeod said: “The new Moskito will be unlike any other bar or late night venue in the city. From the interiors, to the drink, from the food, to the music, every element has been curated to ensure the customer journey is memorable and exciting from the minute they step through the door.”
