The already fully-loaded line-up for T in the Park 2016 has some new additions. Scotland’s leading music festival today announced Diplo, Basement, Dua Lipa, Gerry Cinnamon, Frances, JP Cooper and The Amorettes will all perform at the festival.
They join heavyweight acts on the bill including The Stone Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Disclosure, Courteeners, The 1975, Chase & Status, Catfish and the Bottlemen and LCD Soundsystem.
Festival organisers recently had their licence granted for the event which will return to Strathallan Castle in Perthshire for a second year.
Free buses, a redesigned festival site, additional staff and a smaller capacity are among the changes made this year with 70,000 expected to attend this year instead of last year’s 85,000. The festival campsite has also been given an overhaul.
