Outlander will film in Glasgow city centre tomorrow

Streets in Glasgow city centre will be closed off as filming for the fourth series of Outlander continues. Cast and crew from the hit US show will be on James Morrison Street and St Andrews Street. Both will be shut tomorrow and Thursday from 10am until 11pm.

Local access will be controlled by stewards while scenes take place. The show’s main stars are expected on set, including Caitriona Balfe, who plays Claire Fraser, and Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser.

The show has previously filmed at George Square, Glasgow Cathedral, the University of Glasgow and Pollok Country Park in the city, providing a boost for local tourism.
