For the first time in its 7 year history, Tenement Trail festival moves East on Saturday 12th October taking in music venues including the Barrowland Ballroom, Saint Luke’s, BAaD and the Creative East End. With 13 venues in total, it is a day of non-stop music and the chance to spot some of the most exciting emerging acts.

With headliners Fatherson set to play one of their biggest hometown shows to date and over 60 bands including The Magic Gang, Baby Strange, Sea Girls, Dream Wife, Van Ives, Zoe Graham and more on the line-up, the festival is one of the biggest events in Scotland’s music calendar.

From established veterans to hotly tipped artists to brand new local bands, Tenement Trail has a history of acts who have gone on to become some of the biggest stars in the world.
Man of the moment Lewis Capaldi played The Vic Bar on Sauchiehall Street in 2016, and since gone on to top the charts and crack America.
Mercury Prize nominated The Big Moon played in 2017, while another exciting emerging star Sam Fender played in Flat 0/1 back in the festivals second year and then returned in 2017 to play Sauchiehall Street’s Nice N Sleazy.
Sam Fender went on to win the coveted BRITs Critic Choice Award last year. Other successful Tenement Trail alumni included the energetic Yungblud, The Amazons, Anteros and Baby Strange, the latter set to play a big show at Tenement Trail this year at BAaD.
The first band kicks things off at 1.45pm and the last acts finish at 2.30am.
