The city’s food elite were among those who turned out for the launch of the Glasgow Restaurant Festival – a culinary extravaganza showcasing the best of our local dining scene; all set in a vintage spiegeltent which has taken over Candleriggs Square in the Merchant City.
The celebration saw guests enjoy beautiful canapés served by food stars The Gannet, Porter & Rye, Red Onion, and Section 33. The drinks were flowing thanks to sponsors Belhaven Brewery, Makar Gin and Glengoyne Distillery.
The first city-wide Glasgow Restaurant Festival will see events run until 24th April and promise to showcase the best of Glasgow’s restaurants in an engaging and creative series of cooking showcases and dining experiences.
