Princes Square are hosting their own celebration of the Chinese New Year. From Sunday 26th January, the courtyard will be transformed with a pagoda and red carpet.
Another Chinese new year tradition they will be celebrating is the giving of red envelopes – Princes Square staff will be handing out envelopes filled with prizes and shoppers will be able to take advantage of discounts in the stores and restaurants.
Also known as Chinese Spring Festival, Chinese New Year starts on 25th January and ends on 4th February. The festival has more than 4000 years of history and is the longest holiday of the year. Every year is symbolised by one of the 12 spirit animals of the Chinese zodiac and 2020 is The Year of the Rat.

We’re asking shoppers to keep their eyes peeled for our red envelopes which contain prizes and offers for our stores and restaurants. We’d love you to share your pics on our channels using #PSChineseNewYear2020.”
