Rioja in Finnieston is inviting all romantics to join them this Valentine’s Day for for a sharing menu. There will be a glass of Spanish cava for every dinner on the night and a fresh red rose on each table. Known for combining the best of Scottish and Spanish ingredients on the menu, Rioja dishes are fresh and creative. Their Valentine’s menu is no exception. Starting with freshly baked bread and their infamous Spanish olives, embrace the vibrancy of the restaurant for a laidback meal.
Their sharing menu starts with freshly baked bread and Spanish olives. Then there will be two amuse bouche – a Spanish croquette with fois gras and a sherry reduction followed by a marinated Scottish salmon roulade with cheese and olives.
The main event will see you choose three tapas from a menu that includes monkfish and langoustines carpaccio with a beetroot gazpacho gel, aloe vera, a dish of pork trotters with black pudding or langoustines with Armagnac sauce.
Desserts include homemade Spanish cheesecake or a rich chocolate brownie topped with walnuts and fresh berries.
