Saint PHNX are an ambitious and enigmatic duo made up of two brothers, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Stevie Jukes and drummer Alan Jukes. They are from Wishaw but grew up playing in bands in Glasgow and are currently prodigiously producing music from a self-made studio in the West End. After emerging in early 2016, they’ve had a steep ascent, with their music accumulating 15 million plays across all platforms.
Today they revealed their new single, One. Led by Stevie’s soaring vocals, the track is an uplifting anthem, with a positive and tenacious message. Stevie told Glasgowist: “One was the first song we wrote together when we started the band. It set the tone for our style of music – both in the lyrics and the sound.
“It encapsulated the emotion Alan and I shared starting a new project together as brothers with big dreams and an air of confidence in what we wanted to create and achieve with our music.”
Last year was a busy one for the band. They played their own headline sold out tour across the UK and France, supported US rapper NF at a sold out Camden Assembly, and also played Reading and Leeds Festival.
