School of Rock – The Musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s smash hit, award-winning West End show, is coming to Glasgow next year as part of a UK tour.
The production, which is based on the movie of the same name starring Jack Black will load in to the King’s Theatre from Monday 8 until Saturday 13 March 2021, before moving on to the Edinburgh Playhouse from Tuesday 23 until Saturday 27 March 2021
Tickets are on sale to ATG Theatre Card Holder on Friday 6 March and go on general sale on Monday 9 March.
The story follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school.
There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitarshredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band – sensationally performed live by the production’s young actors every night with roof-raising energy!
While teaching these pint-sized prodigies what it means to truly rock, Dewey falls for the school’s beautiful, but uptight headmistress, helping her rediscover the wild child within.
