There was a bewildering amount of enthusiasm, bordering on hysteria, on the Glasgowist Facebook page when we announced that Taco Bell was opening on Sauchiehall Street in December 2017. Now we are set to see a second branch of the American chain open in the city.
The junction of Union Street and Argyle Street is the four corners of fast food. Currently there is Pizza Hut and McDonald’s facing KFC and Tim Hortons. Greggs, the Blue Lagoon and Subway are a few steps away if you are still hungry.
Now, Taco Bell will occupy part of the existing KFC site, which is currently closed for refurbishment.

The new Taco Bell will have 100 seats, with an entrance on Union Street.
