Soma Skool returns to educate on electronic music

Soma Skool returns after a nine year hiatus with a fresh approach to learning about the electronic music industry in 2018. The event aims to motivate and exhilarate future creative entrepreneurs. Local independents, Soma Records, have teamed up with arts space SWG3 and electronic music learning hubs Shoogle Studios and SKapade Studios to provide this free entry, educational one day event which is open to anyone over 16.

Throughout the day on March 31st there will be talks, discussions and careers advice from diverse and forward thinking professionals from around Scotland currently working in events, journalism, production, performance, sound and light, engineering, digital live streaming and record labels.

There will also be interactive DJ classes and Ableton Live music production classes from some of the best qualified electronic music teachers in Scotland, to encourage the audience to try the equipment out for themselves and come away with new skills.
