Whisper it, but there may yet be some sunshine for the Glasgow Summer Sessions gigs at Bellahouston Park. First up on Friday, Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds return to Glasgow after a storming set at The Hydro earlier in the year. Then Saturday it’s a rocking homecoming for Biffy Clyro, invigorated after the recent release of their number one album.
Gallagher has grown into his uneasy role of frontman, naturally progressing to bigger and bigger stages powered by his natural ability to craft an anthemic melody. Biffy Clyro are no stranger to big tunes themselves. It’s going to be a loud and lively couple of days.
