Glasgow’s hottest new restaurant The Merchant Steakhouse is stepping into summer with the launch of their irresistible new lunch menu. The new set menu features a range of light dishes and refreshing cocktails, perfect for enjoying on their new sun-soaked terrace outside the restaurant.
Expertly crafted by the talented team of chefs at The Merchant Steakhouse, guests can look forward to savouring the vibrant and fresh flavours of the season with an assortment of nutritious salads, including a delicate Heritage Beetroot Salad with roasted hazelnuts and a zesty blood orange balsamic dressing, or a premium Steak and Blue Cheese or a crisp Chargrilled Chicken Salad that’s cooked over flaming hot coals on their custom built Argentinian-inspired Parrilla grill.

A must try for meat lovers, their signature Beef Carpaccio with Charred Chicory and Beef Tea delivers a mouthwatering taste combination. There’s also crowd pleasers like classic Steak Frites and skinny fries, or an Aberdeen Angus Burger, served on a black and white sesame seeded brioche bun with shredded lettuce, tomato, and an indulgent bone marrow mayonnaise.
Those with a sweet tooth won’t be able to resist the Perthshire Berry Sundae with Raspberry Ripple ice cream, honeycomb, raspberry meringue, and vanilla Chantilly. The Lemon Tart with vanilla pod ice cream and black pepper strawberries is perfect for a citrusy delight.
With summer on the horizon, The Merchant Steakhouse’s bar has created a new menu full of summer spritzes and cocktails that perfectly complement the season’s flavours. From the tangy and invigorating Merchant Spritz to the tropical delight of the Pineapple and Coconut Daiquiri, there is something to suit every preference.
