Sunshine and beats this weekend at Riverside Festival

21st May 2018 by Paul Trainer

Scotland’s biggest electronic music festival, Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival, takes place this bank holiday weekend beside the award winning Zaha Hadid designed Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde.

Co-curated by Slam, Riverside brings together cutting edge electro acts including: Leftfield, Paula Temple, Lady Starlight, Dixon, Dax J, Green Velvet, Adam Beyer and Skream.

Local favourite Jackmaster brings his Mastermix Stage back with Saoirse and IDA on the bill alongside Sven Väth who hosts his Cocoon Stage while Slam curate and host their Pressure Stage.

The full line-up can be found here.

For the first time the inside of the Riverside Museum will also be open to festival goers where there will be an indoor dance floor soundtracked by Sub Club’s Harri and Domenic, Dixon Avenue Basement James, Nightwaves and Becky Marshall.

DJ Sama (Palestine’s first DJ) also makes her Scottish debut headlining the indoor stage on the Sunday. With over 3,000 objects on display there’s everything from skateboards to locomotives, paintings to prams and cars to a Stormtrooper and the opportunity to walk through Glasgow streets and visit the shops, bar and subway. It makes for an interesting setting.
