Talisker whisky is collaborating with Kelvingrove Cafe in celebration of Burns Night. The partnerships promises to put a new spin on traditional Scottish celebrations and offer limited-edition menus.
Kelvingrove Café is set for an evening of ‘Turnips, Tunes, Toasts and Talisker.’ Commencing at 9pm on Wednesday 25th January, and with free entry, guests will be welcomed with specially crafted Scottish bar bites and have access to Talisker drinks specials at the West End café and cocktail bar, before joining the dancefloor and making the most of Diageo’s Global Scotch Whisky Ambassador and part time DJ, Ervin Trykowski’s, tunes.
From tasty twists on Burns Night’s traditional haggis, neeps and tatties to Talisker cocktails, guests can look forward to:
● Haggis and neeps in wee tatties
● Sticky Whisky pork belly skewers
● Arbroath Smokie pakoras
● Haggis and pear Bridies
● Cranachan and Raspberry ganache bars
Alongside these nibbles, a bespoke menu of Talisker cocktails, named after authors renowned for writing about the sea, will be available to order throughout the night, showcasing the sea-salty nose and smoky character that the single malt whisky is
famous for.
Sample the Ernest for a fresh fruity highball featuring Talisker 10 Year Old and Grapefruit Bitters, or for those who are partial to an Old Fashioned, the Herman, mixing Talisker 10 Year Old, Absinthe and Yellow Chartreuse.
