There’s a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Six by Nico. Inspired by the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland, the latest theme will now run until 5th January 2020 to finish out the year.
Colourful and creative fine dining style, the Mad Hatter menu is one of the best that’s been served at Six by Nico. Each item on the menu refers to a scene in the novel or has a connection to one of the characters. We visited to try it for ourselves.

Things begin with an ‘Eat Me, Drink Me’ course of mushroom consommé, alongside an empire biscuit of parmesan truffle, white kappa and quince.

Cheshire Cat Copy Cat comes in the form of a delicious rich chicken liver parfait, encased in orange jelly, to be spread on toasted sourdough.

Steak tartare? No, that’s a goats cheese panna cotta, green olive tapenade, tomato tartare and a yoghurt yolk.

Sole next, a dish called Check Mate, with black garlic emulsion, cauliflower and lemon verbena foam.

Course five: Off With His Head. Pork fillet, head croquette, black pudding, roasted carrot, spiced prune.

To close, Queen of Hearts inspired dessert of white chocolate mousse, red velvet cake, raspberries, pecan brittle.
The menu is priced at £29 per person with the option to enjoy an expertly selected wine and specialist drinks pairing for an additional £26 at each restaurant. As ever, there is a vegetarian alternative available for every course, as well as Mad Hatter’s Tea Party inspired snacks as sides.
