The traditional Italian family eatery that opens on a corner of Paisley Road West tomorrow is the sister of the established Leonardo’s Restaurant in Hamilton.
The team at Leonardo’s aim to provide a cosy dining room, affordable prices and great food. Expect Italian tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil in sauces along with locally sourced Scottish seafood including sea bass, scallops and langoustines alongside pizza, pastas and risottos.
Early favourites include Linguine Langostine e Gamberoni – fresh Scottish langoustines with prawns and the Pollo Saltimbocca with Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella and a side of tagliatelle.
Vegetarians will enjoy Risotto Asparagus, with garlic, white wine and cream. There’s gluten free pasta and a full vegan menu. Nehat, the co-owner and head chef creates daily specials desserts, including a tasty Tiramisu.
The launch of the new local restaurant takes place tomorrow night.
