The first Sharing Health and Empowerment Event (SHE) will be held on Sunday 29th October at Trades Hall on Glassford Street. SHE brings together therapists, peacemakers, trailblazers and activists on the front line of food and nutrition, complementary medicine, healing and psychology to discuss the real issues facing Scottish women today. The event will be an afternoon with three Glasgow women sharing their knowledge and experience.

Angela Trainer is Founder Director of The Harvest Clinic in Glasgow, Scotland’s leading centre for treatment and training in mind, body and spirit. A Psychology graduate from the University of Glasgow, Angela now has over 30 years of experience as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist specialising in women’s issues. Angela has been accredited as a Lecturer by the Royal College of Nursing and University of West London, and has taught in the UK and Internationally for 30 years. For her services to the profession, Angela was awarded a Fellowship of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and she continues to help women overcome physical and mental health issues in her private practice, workshops & trainings.
Irene McCabe is a Naturopathic Nutritionist, Food Intolerance Therapist, and Clinical Hypnotherapist supporting progressive General Practitioners in Scotland. With over 30 years research experience in nutrition and metaphysics, and former owner of Napier’s The Herbalists, Irene is a widely acclaimed healthcare speaker, writer, and newspaper columnist who uses a unique combination of modern techniques and ancient practices to help her clients achieve balance in mind, body and spirit.
Lorna McLean is a leading Holistic Practitioner, co-founder of Reiki Gatherings Scotland and an organiser of holistic & spiritual events. With over 40 years of experience in complementary healthcare, Lorna is an accomplished Reiki Teacher, Holistic Practitioner and Meditation Practitioner. Lorna was first attuned to Usui Reiki in 1997 and later to Karuna Reiki by William Lee Rand at Stonehenge. She is a UK Reiki Federation Verified Master Teacher Member, an ICRT registered Usui/Holy Fire Reiki and Holy Fire Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher. As a regular guest on radio and television providing advice on bereavement, mental health, and spiritual matters. Lorna continues to offer talks on various healing modalities at seminars and events.
