The Tunnel will celebrate its first birthday in their new home on Renfield Street with a special DJ set from Marko Liv on Saturday 19th December.
The club is the successor to the original venue on Mitchell Street, designated a superclub in the days when the title really meant something and the location for outrageous sets by the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Judge Jules at the height of their powers.
After the dissolution of the club that established the name after 24 years in the city, a new chapter was opened for the next generation of dance music.
Marko Liv is best known for being crowned Ibiza Best Newcomer in 2014, playing Pacha and Amnesia nightclubs as well as holding down a secondary residency at Ibiza Rocks Bar.
Dance music still has a club circuit for the leading DJs and with The Tunnel, Glasgow is still on it, in more ways than one.
